Product and Craft FAQ’s

Are your crochet items handmade?

  • Yes! All my items are handmade/sewn.

What kind of yarn/materials do you use?

  • I use a mix of yarns, primarily acrylic, cotton and polyester mix.

How do I care for and wash my crochet item?

  • All my products come with care instructions! But mostly, I recommend hand washing where possible, if not wash at 3o degrees, never tumble dry any of the items!

Do the colors look the same in person as they do online?

  • I have made every effort to ensure the colours are clearly reflected however, lighting may make some colours seem darker/brighter.

Are your products safe for babies/children?

  • I am very particular when it comes to child safety, I have made every effort to ensure that my products are safe and no small parts are detachable however, supervision is always advised!

Custom Orders & Personalization

Do you take custom orders?

  • I am always open to taking custom orders however, I will be honest with you if it is not something I can do.

  • If I can do your customer order, a 50% deposit is always required up front to secure the order and the other 50% is due before I ship the item.

  • I will always send you a photo of the finished product before shipping to ensure that you are happy with the item.

Can I choose the colors or size?

  • You are welcome to choose. colours and sizing where possible, if it is not possible to pick a size of an item, I will let you know. For example;
    - The baby clothes come in sizes from
    0 - 6m and 6 - 12m
    - Cat Ear beanies can be made in
    small or medium
    -
    Beanies can be made in small or medium

How long does a custom order take?

  • As I work a standard full time job as well as caring for my mum, custom order will take up to 4 weeks to be made and shipped. This allows me time to get the materials (if I have run out), make the item and ship it. If I do require more time, I will always let you know.

Shipping & Delivery

How long will my order take to arrive?

  • I can never say for certain how long delivery times will take but the hope is that your item will be delivered within the week of shipping.

Do you ship internationally?

  • At the moment, the cost of shipping internationally is not cost effective.

What are the shipping costs?

  • I have tried to keep shipping costs as low as possible, using Evri’s parcel sizes as a guideline (see bottom of FAQ’s for sizes and prices)

Can I track my order?

Once your item has shipped, a tracking number will be issued to the email address that was used at the time of purchase.

Payments & Returns

What payment methods do you accept?

  • Currently I accept most payment methods offered.

What if my order arrives damaged?

  • I always make every effort to package all products securely. However, if the item does become damaged in transit please contact me within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. I’ll happily send a replacement or refund at no extra cost to you.

What if I change my mind and no longer want the item?

  • As long as I have not shipped the item, your order will be cancelled and a full refund will be processed.
    If the item has been shipped, you will need to return the item covering the return postage costs, once I receive the item back, a full refund will be issued.

    Refunds can take up to 7 - 10 working days depending on your banks processing time.

Other

Do you sell crochet patterns or just finished products?

  • I only sell finished products at the moment.

Can I order in bulk for gifts or events?

  • If you would like to place a bulk order, this would fall under custom order. With it being bulk you will need to allow me extra time longer than the 4 weeks depending on the size of the order - all details will be confirmed before I start the order.

Do you restock sold-out items?

  • Sometimes I will restock sold-out items where possible.

Returns Policy

Eligibility for Returns

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery.

  • Products must be unused, in their original condition, and in original packaging (where applicable).

  • Custom or personalized items are non-refundable, unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

Return Postage

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Refunds

  • Once I receive and inspect the returned item, I’ll issue a refund to your original payment method.

  • Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me within 7 days of delivery with photos, and I’ll be happy to make it right.

Shipping Prices

Post-able or large letter (up to 2kg)
Fits through a letterbox, max 35cm length, 23cm width, 1 - 3cm depth. Min weight 250g.

  • Standard (2 - 4 working days): £2.62

  • Next Day (1 working day if sent by 12): £3.20

Small parcel (up to 2kg)

  • Standard (2 - 4 working days): £2.62

  • Next Day (1 working day if sent by 12): £3.20

Medium/large parcel (2kg - 10kg)

  • Standard (2 - 4 working days): £5.87

  • Next Day (1 working day if sent by 12): £6.82

Extra large parcel (10kg - 15kg)

  • Standard (2 - 4 working days): £9.01

  • Next Day (1 working day if sent by 12): £10.61

Custom Orders

  • Prices for custom order deliveries will vary depending on the final weight of the product. Delivery cost estimates will be agreed before a customer order is confirmed.

Damaged in Transit Policy

If your item is damaged during delivery, please let me know as soon as you can and send photos.

Replacement or refund at my expense

  • I will offer to send a replacement item (at no extra charge) or issue a full refund. (please see my returns policy)

Photo Proof Required

  • Customers are typically asked to send a photo of the damaged item and packaging so I can verify and (if needed) file a claim with the courier.

Time Window for Reporting

  • Any damaged item must be reported within 7 days of delivery and returned within 14 days of delivery (please see my returns policy)

I Cover returns costs

  • Unlike change-of-mind returns, I will cover standard postage or provide a prepaid return label (though if it’s unusable or damaged beyond repair you only need to send me photo evidence).

3: Products, orders and payments

If you purchase crochet products or digital patterns, you agree to provide accurate billing and contact information.

  1. All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.

  2. Payments must be made in full before items are shipped or digital products are delivered (expect with customer orders).

  3. Digital downloads are non-refundable once delivered.

6: User content

If you post comments, reviews, or share photos on my site or social media, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use that content for promotional purposes.

  1. You must not submit unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted with the “Effective Date” at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
